Gaurav is Senior Director of AI and Technology Development at The ExCo Group, where he leads the design and deployment of AI systems that translate directly into measurable business and operational outcomes. With more than a decade of experience spanning federal agencies and commercial enterprise, he brings a rare combination of deep technical architecture and executive-level strategy — building intelligent systems while making the organizational case for them.

Grounded in MIT-engineered AI innovation and Wharton Executive Strategy, Gaurav has delivered results including 85%+ model accuracy, 60% faster release cycles, and 100% federal audit readiness across some of the most regulated environments in the country. He is both the technologist who builds the system and the strategist who secures the buy-in to scale it.

Career History

Gaurav’s career spans the full arc of enterprise technology — from regulated quality assurance at Fortune 500 companies to the frontier of autonomous AI systems. His federal career took him through NIH, CMS, and the Department of Justice, where he modernized a grants management platform processing approximately 250,000 applications per year — compressing release cycles by 60%, reducing post-production defects by 40%, and tripling automated test coverage.

In parallel, he founded ComplyEasyAI under AARAIK LLC — a solo-built, multi-tenant GRC SaaS platform covering 20+ regulatory frameworks, including the EU AI Act, HIPAA, GDPR, and NIST AI RMF, comprising 250 data models, 1,116 API endpoints, and 26 AI/ML microservices. The platform achieved a 96.65% production-readiness score on its first forensic audit — a demonstration of founder-level technical ownership at the scale that typically requires a team of 10 to 15 engineers. Most recently, at SuperThinks.AI, he architected disaster-relief AI infrastructure in support of California wildfire rehabilitation efforts, raising data-ingestion fidelity by 25 percentage points in an environment where accuracy carries direct life-safety consequences.

Personal

Gaurav earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland and has pursued advanced executive education at MIT and the Wharton School. He lives in Maryland with his wife and children.
