Overview

Sonja Meighan is the Chief Experience Officer at The ExCo Group. In her role, Sonja oversees the end‑to‑end delivery of the firm’s services and the overall customer experience. She regularly partners with CHROs, Heads of Executive Development, and Global Heads of Talent to design and implement customized leadership development solutions for executive populations. In addition, Sonja also leads and manages ExCo’s internal account management team, ensuring every customer and client has a clearly defined strategy for its partnership with the ExCo and receives proactive support to achieve their leadership objectives.

Beyond her customer-facing responsibilities, Sonja plays a key role in new mentor onboarding and ongoing training, equipping mentors to deliver consistently high standards of impact across engagements. She also serves on the firm’s Craft & Culture Committee, helping to steward the practices, norms, and collaborative behaviors that underpin excellence in delivery. Over more than a decade at The ExCo Group, Sonja has strengthened delivery standards and quality assurance, scaling the firm’s methodology across diverse industries and geographies while maintaining an unwavering focus on driving measurable impact for customers.

Personal

Sonja is a graduate of Washington and Lee University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. A former captain of the Women’s Tennis Team and a seven‑time All‑American, she brings a disciplined, high‑performance approach to her leadership. A dual citizen of the United States and Norway, Sonja brings a global perspective to her work and is committed to advancing leadership that aligns strategy, culture, and execution in service of enterprise performance.
