Overview

Keith Ivory Millner is an accomplished executive with extensive experience leading strategic growth and leadership development at major organizations. Having served as President of Certus Bank Georgia, President of Nationwide Financial Network, SVP and Head of National Accounts at Aetna, and EVP & COO of Invest Atlanta, Millner has a strong track record of leading across various industries in both public and private sectors.

Career History

Millner most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Invest Atlanta, where he led strategic investment initiatives and economic development projects, enhancing regional growth and community engagement. In this role, he developed and executed key strategies to drive economic revitalization, working closely with public and private stakeholders to optimize impact.

Previously, Millner was President of Certus Bank Georgia, overseeing financial operations, strategic growth, and asset management for the $2B regional market. He was responsible for two thirds of the $864M deposit portfolio and one third of the $405M loan portfolio. Earlier at Aetna, as Senior Vice President and Head of National Accounts, he managed high-profile client portfolios, increasing client retention by 8%. At Nationwide Financial Network, he served as President, directing multi-channel distribution strategies and leading client relationship management to enhance service delivery and market reach.

Personal

Millner earned a BA degree in Economics from Guilford College and an MBA in Marketing from the University of North Carolina. He is a doctoral scholar at Clark Atlanta University’s School of Higher Education Leadership.  A passionate advocate for community engagement, he serves on several boards and has received numerous accolades, including the Knight Leadership Award from 100 Black Men of America and the Men of Influence Award from the Atlanta Business League. An avid adventurer and former collegiate athlete, Millner has completed multiple marathons, summited Mt. Kilimanjaro and The Grand Tetons, and navigated Class V rapids, reflecting his passion for personal growth and global perspectives.
