Overview

Merielle Agorilla is an Associate at The ExCo Group, where she provides critical analytical and content support to advance the firm’s leadership advisory and assessment practices. She analyzes qualitative data and develops leadership insights into executive-level reports and presentation materials. She also collaborates with the Chief Innovation Officer on leadership development content and experiences and supports The ExCo Group advisors in preparing for client sessions. 

Career History

Prior to joining The ExCo Group, Merielle served as Senior Editor at Gnovis, Georgetown’s graduate student-run peer-reviewed academic journal, where she created Gnovis Learning, a comprehensive training pathway for journal editors and peer reviewers. She also co-led the planning and execution of the journal’s 25th anniversary publication and directed Gnovicon, their flagship annual research conference. 

Before coming to DC, Merielle worked for over a decade as a people management and organizational development consultant in the Philippines, delivering impactful learning experiences to clients across private, public, and non-profit sectors. She also served as the People & Culture Leader for Asia-based firm Management Strategies, where she designed a comprehensive People & Culture experience for independent consultants and full-time employees focused on talent development, equitable rewards, and team wellbeing. 

Personal

Merielle holds two master’s degrees: Communication, Culture, and Technology (CCT) from Georgetown University, and Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Ateneo de Manila University. When not working, she trains for marathons and enjoys Korean dramas. She hopes to complete all World Marathon Majors and score VIP seats to see global K-pop group BTS live.
