Overview

Sayed Sadjady is a global leader with over 35 years of leadership experience in organizational transformation and talent development. He has extensive experience across a range of industries, including Financial Services, Retail & Consumer, Industrial Products, Healthcare, Tech, and Private Equity. As an ExCo mentor, Sadjady helps clients drive growth strategies, business transformation, and succession planning.

Career History

Most recently, Sadjady served as Partner, Professional Services and Human Capital Practices for Odgers Berndtson, where he advised clients on core talent and leadership strategy. In this role, he worked closely with CHROs and the HR leadership team to define the workforce strategy and secure top talent for complex and executive positions. While in this role, Sadjady implemented AI to enhance talent selection, assessment, and succession processes.

Before Odgets Berndtson, Sadjady was Partner, Americas Industries Leader of Technology, Media & Entertainment, and Telecommunications (TMT), People Advisory Services at Ernst & Young (EY). In this role, he grew the Workforce Advisory solutions business, advising CEOs, CHROs, CTOs, and business heads on future-of-work strategies, including implementing or upgrading HR cloud applications and using robotics/AI in HR shared services and field operations. He also served as an EY Tech/Media/Telco industry Market Board member. He was responsible for client segmentation, quarterly account reviews, cross-service-line integration, and sales model implementation.

His previous role at EY was Partner, Americas Talent Markets Leader, wherein he advised the Board of Directors on the people agenda from governance, strategy, and risk perspectives. Additionally, he established EY’s market-facing integrated talent management solution framework to design and manage the end-to-end talent cycle from acquisition to succession and built the model into the HR transformation framework.

Prior to EY, Sadjady was a Partner and Human Capital Solutions Leader at PwC as its US HR Transformation Co-lead and Leader of the NY People & Change practice. In this role, he worked with senior HR leaders on company-wide transformation in global organizations within the financial services, investment & retail banking, and hospitality & leisure sectors.

Before PwC, Sadjady held Director and Management roles for The BOC Group PLC and Royal Dutch Shell.

Personal

Sadjady holds a BS in Fuel & Energy Engineering, an MS in Chemical Engineering, Integrated Design of Process Plants from the University of Leeds, and an MBA from London Business School. He currently resides in Edgware, London, England.
