Overview
Scott Finder is a former C-suite leader and current board director with over 25 years of global experience leading digital and cultural transformation. He has a strong track record of driving change and leading high-performing, domestic and global teams via organic growth and large-scale M&A. His experience encompasses a variety of functions and industries, including technology, product, digital/mobile banking across FinTech, wealth management, asset management, and private banking. He has marketed to and serviced B2C, B2B, and B2B2C intermediary client models.
Career History
In addition to his work with ExCo, Finder serves as an Independent Board Director
of Provoke Solutions and is a member of the Executive Advisory Board of Quantum Metric. He also previously held a board position with the American Diabetes Association. Additionally, Finder has served as an advisor to Vitagene, a genetics startup.
Most recently, Finder held roles as Chief Digital Officer and Senior VP – Head of Digital Channels, where he led First Republic Bank’s (NYSE: FRC. Now a part of JPM) enterprise-wide digital and client experience (CX) initiatives. Finder achieved growth and exceptional client satisfaction with a successful Consumer Digital Banking Transformation, including conversion of the company’s entire client base between legacy and new Digital Channels & underlying systems. This represents one of the largest initiatives in the company’s history.
Previously, Finder served as Managing Director, Global Head of eBusiness for BlackRock (NYSE: BLK), the world’s largest asset manager. While in this role, Finder oversaw the full digital footprint for BlackRock, including that of iShares, the world’s largest exchange-traded fund provider. Finder led multiple teams to drive all digital channels, including Product Management, Software Development & Support, Employee and Customer Experience, UX, Marketing, Social Media, Operations, Client Support, Data Analytics & Risk Management functions.
Finder began his career at Merrill Lynch in the middle and small market banking group before leading Americas eBusiness for Merrill Lynch Investment Managers before its acquisition by BlackRock.
Personal
Finder received his Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Finance at Ohio University and is an alumnus of the University of Pennsylvania, the Wharton School, having completed the Advanced Management Program. He currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
